Water tube boiler mostly using in higher capacity thermal power plant,In which water is heated until the water is converted in super heated steam at required pressure and temperature. Basic working principle of water tube is simple to easy learning.
The boiler consist with steam drum to store and separates the water and steam, initially preheated feed water enters in to drum throughout the economizer. Basically the steam drum arrangement in provided at top of boiler so the drum water is drawn into evaporator coils which arranged into furnace flue gas pass that is called first pass of boiler, boiling of water, evaporation water will starts in evaporators with small steam and water mixed bubbles, these will goes upwards to steam drum due to low density and after enters in drum the saturated steam is separates from water with help of drum separators then saturated steam is entering in to primary super heater and secondary super heaters and saturated steam is converted in super heated steam.
